Betty Irabor is an accomplished Nigerian publisher with an illustrious career
spanning 35 years in journalism, corporate marketing, media, and
entrepreneurship. Her journey in the media industry highlights a successful
evolution from a passionate career in journalism to the esteemed creation of
Genevieve Magazine, a women-centric lifestyle publication that became a
leading voice in boosting women’s empowerment and visibility.
Betty is also the founder of the “Genevieve Pink Ball,” an initiative championing
breast cancer awareness in Nigeria. The “Pink Ball” orchestrated innovative
fundraising campaigns that had a significant impact on breast cancer prevention
and detection efforts. Through high-impact publicity campaigns across premium
media outlets, The Pink Ball raised public awareness about the importance of
early breast cancer detection. This heightened awareness led to a substantial
increase in annual screenings.
As a global keynote speaker and recognized thought leader, Betty has shared her
expertise through authentic storytelling on global platforms and contributed
valuable insights into leadership roles, continually shaping meaningful narratives

Betty is the author of two books, "Morning Dew" and "Dust to Dew," These
books detail her journey through entrepreneurship, her triumph over personal
challenges, and her battle with clinical depression, aiming to inspire others to rise
above obstacles. Her candid discussions about her struggles with depression, and
her journey from pain to purpose, have inspired many to overcome their fears and
pain, encouraging them to embrace the beautiful life God has called them to live.
A strong advocate of intentional living, mental health, and well-being, Betty uses
her personal experiences to advocate for these causes. Her vulnerability and
openness about her struggles have empowered many individuals to confront and
conquer their own challenges.
